“We’re thrilled to expand our deal with Downtown Music Publishing,” says LyricFind founder and CEO Darryl Ballantyne. “Downtown represents a stellar array of songwriters and we are excited about the depth and quality this expansion will add to our existing partnership.”
ustin Kalifowitz, Downtown’s CEO noted that “Lyrics, on a stand-alone basis, are one of the world’s most precious art forms. The way in which they are cited, studied, shared and honored truly knows no bounds. We are proud to partner with LyricFind in licensing and distributing our lyrics to music fans around the world.”
Downtown Music Publishing also owns a technology platform – Songtrust – which powers global royalty collection for over 80,000 songwriters and companies such CD Baby, The Orchard and Downtown’s own catalogue in over 90 countries.
