("The little peace in me will die … for this is not America," Bowie sings in the song, which was released 1985.) Beyond its lyrics, fans celebrated the birth and commemorated the passing of Bowie, who was born Jan. 8, 1947, and died Jan. 10, 2016.

Following the Jan. 6 violence at the U.S. Capitol building, Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name" returns to the LyricFind U.S. chart at No. 10, up 778% in U.S. lyric views, followed by Black Sabbath's "The Mob Rules" (No. 19, up 2,183%) and Leonard Cohen's "Democracy" (No. 21, up 825%).

Additionally, two classics with "Georgia" in their titles appear on the latest LyricFind U.S. ranking, following the Jan. 5 election of Georgia senators Jon Ossoff and Rev.
