Inauguration Songs Hit LyricFind Charts, Led by Ant Clemons, New Radicals & More

Two even make the Billboard Hot 100: Ant Clemons’ “Better Days” and Tim McGraw & Tyler Hubbard’s “Undivided.”

A variety of songs reach Billboard’s LyricFind U.S. chart after either being performed during or associated with the Jan. 20 U.S. presidential inauguration, led by Ant Clemons’ “Better Days,” featuring Justin Timberlake, which also debuts on the Billboard Hot 100 dated Jan. 30.

The LyricFind Global and LyricFind U.S. charts rank the fastest momentum-gaining tracks in lyric-search queries and usages globally and in the U.S., respectively, provided by LyricFind. The Global chart includes queries from all countries, including the U.S. The company is the world's leader in licensed lyrics, with data provided by more than 5,000 publishers and utilized by more than 100 services, including Amazon, Pandora, Deezer, Microsoft, SoundHound and iHeartRadio. The latest tracking week ended Jan. 24.

Clemons’ “Better Days,” initially released last year, pops onto LyricFind U.S. at No. 4. According to LyricFind, the song saw a 10,962% increase in lyric views since Jan. 20 globally.

“Feeling Good” by Nina Simone (No. 5, 2,816% boost), Bruce Springsteen’s “Land of Hopes and Dreams” (No. 6, 5,400% boost), New Radicals’ “You Get What You Give” (No. 7, 829% boost) and Foo Fighters’ “Times Like These” (No. 8, 1,284% boost) also reach the chart’s top 10 after being performed, or covered, during the festivities surrounding the inauguration of President Joe Biden. “Feeling Good” was covered by John Legend while the others were sung by the original artists.

Each of the songs also reach the top 10 of the LyricFind Global survey, led once again by “Better Days” at No. 5.
