LyricFind launches Australia chart

Lyric licensing service LyricFind is launching a LyricFind Australia. Appearing via The Music Network, the weekly LyricFind Australia chart takes data from billions of lyric displays and ranks the top trending lyrics. The chart is segmented to just Australian users and highlights the most popular current searches. The deal follows LyricFind’s partnership with Google, to offer featured placement for lyrics in search results and within Google Play Music, in a move that looks to cut out third party websites that may be infringing copyright. "We're very excited to launch the LyricFind charts in Australia exclusively on The Music Network," said LyricFind CEO Darryl Ballantyne. "Australia is a vibrant music market that has created some of the brightest breakout stars of the music world. By using our Lyrics data we're confident we can shine a light on more future hit artists and records coming out of the region."
