Google has partnered up yet again, this time it’s with LyricFind to make finding song lyrics easier than ever. Now, you’ll be able to find song lyrics right in Google search results!
The deal will benefit both companies and additionally the user experience at no additional charge. The feature allows you to search an artist or song title followed by the word ‘lyrics’ to get quick access to related song lyrics. The lyrics are displayed at the top of the search results without having to click any links. It works on both mobile and desktop (PC and Mac) and is displayed as neatly as it gets (see image below). Best of all, Google typically shows just what you’re looking for. From there, you’ll be able to listen to the song and then purchase it on Google’s Play Music service.
The feature was added server-side earlier today for people living in the United States. Google promises more countries will get access shortly.
